Retrospective conversion of the Prints collection in Lambeth Palace Library
is nearing completion. This is the last section of the
Lambeth printed holdings which still had
to be undertaken. It comprises several thousand prints dating from the 17th to
the 20th century, including some photographs and sketches. The main interest
lies in the extensive coverage of Anglican clerical portraiture and
ecclesiastical architecture. To access the collection, which is indexed by
subject, go to the on-line
catalogue of printed books and consult the Prints Index or the
Subject Index from the drop down menu. View images of recent work in conservation. Read more about the Appeal to raise funds for the conversion of the catalogues and indexes to archives and manuscripts to electronic format. View the Annual Reports of the Library |
