Online catalogue of printed books: Horizon Information Portal (iPAC)

The retrospective conversion of our card catalogue of printed books was completed in 2002, and the catalogue is available online.  We recommend that you first read the LPL Users' Guide to get the most out of your use of the catalogue.

The computerisation of the catalogues of Sion printed books has not yet begun, so the HIP (iPAC) catalogue includes only a few test records for Sion College collections.  Please contact us (Lambeth Palace Library, London, SE1 7JU, UK; fax +44 (0)20 7928 7932) with enquiries about Sion College material.

Use the catalogue

Please note that:

  1. To allow full HIP Catalogue functionality you need to use a Java compliant web browser i.e. Netscape Navigator version 6.2 or higher or Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher.
  2. Maintenance work on the system is usually carried out between 08.45 - 09.45 (UK time) each morning. You may be able to access the catalogue while this is going on but there will be reduced functionality.  What is the current time in London?
  3. We recommend that you read the LPL Users' Guide to get the most out of using our catalogue.
