Biographical sources at Lambeth Palace Library on notable individuals

Introduction
This guide is intended to describe the material held in Lambeth Palace Library on various famous or important individuals. We hope to add fresh pages on a regular basis, but the guide cannot hope to be an exhaustive survey of the extensive holdings of biographical relevance to be found in the Library.

It must be emphasized that Lambeth would not be the starting point for biographical research on most of these figures. Our intention is to point out material of primary importance or rarity at Lambeth which might otherwise be overlooked, and to relate these items to collections of more general or background relevance.
