Returns to Archbishop Wake’s visitation articles circulated to incumbents in the deaneries of Croydon, Pagham and Tarring, Shoreham, and South Malling, arranged in roughly alphabetical order of parish within the deaneries.  Text of articles.

Includes an account of the peculiars in the diocese of Chichester in 1718.
 

MS 1134/5-6   Visitation Returns, 1759-61.

Returns of Archbishop Secker’s visitation articles circulated to incumbents of all the eight deaneries, 1759-61, arranged in alphabetical order of parish. The articles were dated 1758, but they were circulated between 1759 –61.  Text of articles.
