The Fulham Papers include a series of visitation returns beginning in 1763 and ending in 1900. Earlier returns are in the Guildhall Library.  All of the returns up to 1815 (including those in the Guildhall Library) are available on microfilm in Lambeth Palace Library.  Details on the extent of the diocese of London.

Howley  48-50   Visitation Returns, 1815

Returns to Bishop Howley's visitation articles circulated to incumbents in Essex in 1815, arranged in alphabetical order of parish (48, 49). The returns for parishes in Middlesex, including the city of London, have not survived. The visitation articles include additional questions on numbers of Anglican churches and chapels, population, glebe and values requested by the Privy Council. A second circular requesting similar information was sent out to those who failed to answer these questions in their return (see 50).
